Cannot modify update settings in Windows Vps


The steps below should unlock the automatic updates controls so you can manage them as you desire.

Log into the server and run regedit from the Run command or a Command Prompt.

Remove the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Windows \ WindowsUpdate
